Our founder, Sara, has more than 10 years of teaching experience, a master’s in Instruction, and a TEFL certificate. She wanted to create a school that offers high quality instruction, helps students reach their personal language goals, and provides engaging lessons.
All of our teachers were carefully selected, not just for their high-quality instruction and fluency in English, but also for their unique expertise they bring to Firefly.
We provide comprehensive training to all of our teachers on an ongoing basis.
Also, all of our teachers have an extensive business background and have worked in the business world for many years in English-speaking countries.
WE ARE AMBITIOUS:
At Firefly we want learning to be exciting! Therefore, we enjoy trying out new activities, games, and methods with our students. You will find us collaborating with other professionals and researching modern ways to engage our students. We will continue to reach new goals as a team, because we are not afraid to take risks and we are open to change.

Instead of offering a “prepackaged product,” we take pride in our work and enjoy creating new content for new clients.
Every lesson is tailored to meet the needs of each of our clients. We will not only create a lesson to help you reach your personal goals, but we will also provide you with comprehensive feedback after each lesson.
WE ARE INTERACTIVE:
Firefly believes in an “interactive teaching” approach. We incorporate games, literature, trivia, communicative activities, and music into our daily instruction.
Additional resources are always available for all clients even outside of our lessons. You can find us active on social media where we post quizzes and participate in LIVE chats. Also we offer free events every month, and you can discover more resources to help with specific skills like listening or reading in our monthly newsletter.

Firefly was created by a teacher who was passionate about teaching, and this passion is what guides our business and teachers.
